• Bear Skin World was established as a division of Fur Source Canada to specialize in Bear Skin Rugs and Taxidermy Mounts from the abundant trophy quality wildlife available in Northern Canada and the Rocky Mountains.
  
  
• When you shop at Bear Skin World online you will pay much less than you would pay in a retail store for the same item. Our rugs and mounts are shipped directly from the taxidermy studio to our customers. You can avoid the middle men and take advantage of wholesale prices.
  
  
• Fur Source Canada is located on the northern prairies of Canada, where black bears, grizzly bears, wolf, etc.. are in abundance. All of the animals sold by us are legally and ethically harvested. Many skins are purchased from Inuit (Eskimo) hunters in the arctic who use the meat of the animal for food and sell the skins to trading posts as their source of income.
  
  
• Canada is known to have some of the coldest winters of any country in the world. As you may know, the further north, the better quality of the fur, simply because of the cold weather conditions. Almost all of our skins are sourced from northern Canada and as a result we are able to offer animal rugs with very thick, dense, beautiful fur that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
